Every woodland friend knows where they belong. One loves the meadow, another prefers the creek, while someone else waits for nightfall. There is just one problem: the puzzle board is in a bit of a muddle.

Help the critters find the right spaces. Read the regions, rule out the impossible and bring calm back to the woods, one thoughtful step at a time.

What is Tiny Woods?

Tiny Woods is a grid logic puzzle. On every board you place critters so that each row, each column and each coloured region holds exactly one, and no two critters touch, not even at the corners. Every board has exactly one solution and it can always be deduced without guessing.

Does Tiny Woods work offline?

Yes. All 600 puzzles and the daily challenge live inside the app. No internet connection and no account are required, and your progress stays on your device.

Is this the same as LinkedIn Queens or Star Battle?

It is the same puzzle family: one piece per row, column and region, with no touching, including diagonally. Tiny Woods adds 600 verified boards across ten chapters, a daily puzzle and full offline play. Tiny Woods is not affiliated with LinkedIn or The New York Times.

Do I ever have to guess?

No. Every board is verified before it ships: it has a single solution, and that solution can be reached by logic alone.

How do hints work?

There are three. Nudge points at the cell to start from and Explain says why the next move is certain - both free. Solve step places one critter for you and costs 25 leaves, or watching a short video instead. Any hint gives up the bonus for finishing a board unaided.

How much does Tiny Woods cost?

The game is free. Optional Premium removes ads and opens the daily archive a year back, extra board themes, fuller statistics and every woodland friend at once, with no leaves to collect.
